I. The objective of the training program
General objective:
Training masters of animal production and health with strong political qualities and job skills; creatively apply knowledge and develop professional skills in professional activities.
Detail goal:
- Having strong political ideology, professional ethics and autonomy in animal production and health activities;
- Incorporating effectively knowledge of breed, nutrition and breeding techniques into production organization;
- Application of veterinary techniques in disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment;
- A sense of self-study and creativity, self-improvement of professional qualifications in the field of animal husbandry - veterinary.
Career orientation of learners after graduation:
After graduating with a master's degree in Animal Production and Health, the master holder can work in the following positions and agencies:
- State management agencies (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Animal Husbandry - Veterinary, Department of Animal Health, regional veterinary agencies, agricultural extension centers and ministries, departments, branches relate to);
- Research institutes and centers (Animal Husbandry Institute, Veterinary Institute, Agricultural Science Institute and related research centers);
- Universities, training institutions with livestock and veterinary sector;

II. Standard output
2.1. Knowledge
- Understand, analyze and evaluate the system of scientific knowledge about: Basic principles of Marxism - Leninism; Ho Chi Minh Thought; Guidelines of the Party and laws of the State. Apply the above scientific knowledge to real life;
- Having in-depth knowledge on breeding selection, nutrition, breeding techniques to apply to the organization of animal husbandry production;
- Connecting veterinary knowledge to provide solutions to manage risks, prevent and fight diseases for cattle and poultry and ensure food hygiene and safety.
2.2. Skills
- At least B1 level of English according to the European reference framework or equivalent; Understand, write, present and discuss some specialized topics in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine in English;
- Proficient use of specialized software in animal husbandry and veterinary production activities;
- Advice on breeds, nutrition, breeding techniques and animal health care;
- Have skills to work independently and coordinate in group.

- Consciousness and professional responsibilities; Self-study to improve qualifications in the field of animal husbandry and animal health management;

1.2. Expected learning outcome
1.2.1. Knowledge
Theoretical level of politics:
Understanding, analyzing and evaluating the scientific knowledge system on: the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism; Ho Chi Minh Thought; Guidelines and guidelines of the Party and laws of the State. Apply these scientific knowledge into real life.
Major knowledge:
- Have in-depth knowledge of livestock breeding and selection; nutrition and food; organizing livestock production;
- Applying knowledge of selection and propagation; nutrition and food; environment into livestock production organization;
- Ability to build projects, manage and organize animal production.
Additional knowledge:
- Applying the knowledge of management and administration of professional activities, environmental protection, agricultural and cultural marketing in business communication to ensure hygiene, safety and sustainable development.
- Applying basic knowledge of legal documents related to animal science and animal health management.
