December 31, 2021 is the last day for a group of students from Faculty of Animal Science, Vietnam National University of Agriculture to participate in the international student exchange program together with students of Faculty of Livestock Production, University of Brawijaya, Indonesia, Faculty of Science. Science and Technology of Agriculture, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Thailand and Faculty of Agriculture and Fisheries, Tra Vinh University. The program is held online on the Zoom application platform.

Delegates participating in the program

After four weeks of working with the spirit of self-discipline, responsibility and creativity, the student group of Faculty of Animal Science presented the following topics: Dairy farming, Beef cattle breeding, Commercial egg laying hens, Animal husbandry. Raising broiler chickens in the North of Vietnam. In addition to professional information, the student group of Faculty of Animal Science also brought the cultural identity of the North of Vietnam to introduce to international friends. The presentation brought fully the quintessence of national culture, the cultural characteristics of the North of Vietnam.

To achieve the above success, it is impossible not to mention the encouragement of Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Kim Dang – Dean of the Faculty and suggestions from the lecturers of Faculty of Animal Science. The enterprises that are partners of the faculty (Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Binh – CEO in charge of the poultry industry of JAPFA) also enthusiastically supported the student group with updated information on the livestock situation in the North of Vietnam.

At the end of four exciting working weeks, the student group of Faculty of Animal Science received high praise from the organizers and other students participating in the program for their inquisitive spirit, soft skills and practical knowledge. Through the program, students certainly have made new friends, memorable experiences, have more love for the livestock industry and are proud to be students of the Faculty of Animal Science, Vietnam National University of Agriculture.
