On the morning of May 23, 2025, the “Student Startup and Innovation Contest – Faculty of Animal Science 2025” was successfully held at the Faculty of Animal Science, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA). The event was co-organized by the Faculty of Animal Science and the KOICA-VNUA Project, aiming to foster creativity and entrepreneurial spirit among students – the future leaders of Vietnam’s livestock sector.
This year’s contest featured six promising startup ideas developed by students from the Faculty of Animal Science. These ideas not only demonstrated creativity and practical relevance but also reflected students’ awareness of technological trends and market demands in modern agriculture.
After more than three hours of serious, fair, and professional evaluation, the judging panel selected the most outstanding ideas. These projects were highly regarded for their feasibility, innovation, and potential application in livestock production. The KOICA-VNUA Project will continue to support and mentor these ideas to further development in the coming time.
At the closing ceremony, all participating student teams were awarded certificates and prizes by the Faculty and the KOICA-VNUA Project. These awards serve not only as recognition of their commendable efforts but also as a powerful source of motivation to encourage continued innovation and entrepreneurial pursuit.
In addition to the contest, the Faculty of Animal Science also honored two outstanding student research projects from 2025. These projects are academically and practically valuable, showcasing the research capabilities and creativity of the Faculty’s students in the animal science field.
The “Student Startup and Innovation Contest – Faculty of Animal Science 2025” was not just an intellectual playground, but also a bridge between academic study and real-world application. It ignited the students’ aspirations and entrepreneurial mindset. This event also affirmed the strategic vision and strong commitment of the Faculty of Animal Science and partners such as KOICA-VNUA in developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam’s livestock industry.
